Spring has Sprung! for the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop - March 2019

Thanks for visiting the Third Thursdays Blog Hop - you are either starting the hop now with me or landing here after visiting one of my other crafty friends!  Can you believe Spring is here?!?  You'd never know it here in NW Ohio except for the glorious sound of chirping birds and maybe, if you squint long enough, you'll notice the touches of green peeping underneath the brown grass.  Spring is definitely in the air!!!

Today's blog hop is all about "Spring has Sprung" so anything Spring-themed is where you'll find all the inspiration for today's projects amongst us hoppers.  So sit back, put your feet up and relax for a while... you might want to warm up your coffee or tea, first though, as you are about to be inspired for the warm weather ahead!

Who doesn't think about Spring without thinking about BUNNIES?!?
Don't you just want to reach out and touch this fluffiness?!?

The "hopping by" sentiment (from More Than Words) was stamped and off-stamped
to compliment the pattern of the Painted Seasons DSP.  One might even say it resembles
the bunnies hopping... or even the placement of the bunnies?
(Just trying to get you to notice the pattern repetition - lol.)
Would you have noticed this pattern if I didn't draw your attention to it?
Hmmmm... let me know in the comments below.

The inside sentiment would fit any occasion from "just because" to
"thinking of you" during these upcoming weeks also recognizes
the simplicity of the card design.

Now, on to the second card!

Can't you just see the bunnies hopping down the bunny trail?!?
Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way...

The layout was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #380.
For some additional dimension, scored lines and a center banner were added.
The lines were scored at 1/4" and 3/8" on all four sides of the Whisper White layer.  The Painted Seasons DSP banner was edged with the Triple Banner Punch.  The top of the banner wrapped around the back and was attached the liquid glue.   The bunnies were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and fussy cut after the ribbons were colored in each color of the Subtles Stampin' Write Markers.  Each nose was colored with the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker.

Score lines around the Pool Party bunny
kept the continuity from the lines from the card front.
The sentiment (from Needle & Thread) stamped in Pool Party
explains why these little bunnies are hopping by!

I hope that these have inspired you in some way today.  Please continue along the blog hop for additional inspiration!
