Welcome to The Joy of Sets Blog Hop!  You are currently visiting Angie McKenzie from the USA and are either starting with me or landing here after visiting the blog of Mo Rootes.  I hope that you are enjoying your weekend!
Joy of Set Blog Hop Banner for November 2020

The Joy of Sets is a closed Facebook group full of papercrafters who love to stamp and create beautiful things whether it is cards, 3D projects, or scrapbooking.  The best part of the group is that we share the love of using whatever stamping supplies we have whether it's new or old.  If you need some crafting mojo with your supplies, this is a group you should check out!

November is the month of Thanksgiving here in the USA... so this month's theme of Thankful for You is the perfect time to express thanks to so many people!  How many times do you wish that you had a card to hand to a cashier, a delivery person or a neighbor and you didn't have one at your fingertips?  We hope that as you hop along with us today, you will be inspired to create a stack of cards to have handy for yourself or someone else who needs them.

With the 20-pack set of Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes, making lots of thank you cards is a breeze!  Add some Very Vanilla and/or Soft Sea Foam layers that were cut with the Curvy Dies (part of the Quite Curvy Bundle as an early release promotion) along with some Soft Suede and Soft Sea Foam ink to make a variety of cards.

Ink the Beautiful Autumn leaves outline image in Soft Suede and stamp and off stamp around the edge of a Very Vanilla layer.  Ink the leaves fill image in Soft Sea Foam and repeat.  Ink the Best Year sentiment in Soft Suede onto a Very Vanilla layer and die cut with the Curvy Dies.  Adhere both layers to a Soft Sea Foam layer.  Wrap Linen Thread around the layers and tie off with a bow.  Fold and burnish the pre-scored Note Card card base.  Adhere to the front of the Note Card card base.

The note cards were left blank (GASP! So not me, right?!?) to allow for a special note of thanks to the recipients and envelopes were stamped to compliment the card fronts.

SPRINKLING - JOS Blog Hop Reference to stamping

Today's projects consisted of "sprinkling" love amongst my stamp sets!   Sprinkling love is usually how I create.  Are you a sprinkler?  Or are you a spreader? Or a sharer?

I hope you have been inspired by my project today.  There are several of us participating so be sure to hop around each of the blogs to see all the amazing "love" inspiration.  I know you don't want to miss any creative inspiration... so up next is Narelle!

  1. Angie your cards are always amazing. Love this layout. But what really appealed to me today was your SPRINKLING, SHARING, SPREADING graphics. I'm a bit of all three I guess. Thanks for sharing such a welcoming blog.
