Today's Project

There are so many new products that you can purchase at the moment to earn some FREE products from Stampin' Up!® during Sale-A-Bration.  I chose to group some extra products that you may or may not have with an amazing bundle so you can earn a Level 1 product.  

The Garden Wishes Bundle is so amazing!  Nature lover that I am knew that it would be on my must have list from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  Dandelions just bring smiles to face except for when our lovely mounds around our pond are engulfed with them.  **wink**. But I can't help but love the sprouts of dandelion that I find under our blue spruces... just imagining that some of the critters (rabbits and squirrels) are busy planting their gardens.  

The Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes ($7.50 US) are perfect for decorating on the outside and gifting homemade goodies - edible and non-edible alike!  So that is what I added as a low cost extra as you can get 10 of the boxes for less than a dollar a piece.  And with a Blending Brush (3 for $12.50 US) it's simple to add some color to the outside like I did for today's project.

Project Details

Adding Bumblebee ink to the box with a Blender Brush gave it a nice soft glow.  Several of the Dandy Wishes Dies which are part of the Garden Wishes Bundle were die cut from Basic White cardstock using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  The dies cuts were adhered to the box front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The Garden Wishes sentiment was inked in VersaMark, stamped onto a scrap piece of So Saffron cardstock and hear embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.

But it's what you find inside that makes you smile!  I created a set of three cards to go in the box.  What's so special about the cards?  Well, it uses a Level 1 product that can be earned during Sale-A-Bration!  The Corner Bouquet stamp set doesn't have to just be stamped in the corner.  You can get a bit creative with it.  Inspired by Emma Goddard, I used my Stampin' Write Markers to color the largest image and stamped it on scraps of Basic White cardstock and then used the label die from the Fluttering Dies (I adore these new dies!) to frame the artwork while also giving it some added dimension around the edges.  

The flowers were colored with my So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker while the bushy leaves and grasses were colored with my Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Marker.  The Garden Wishes sentiment was also colored with my Pear Pizzazz marker.

An extra label die cut from scrap Basic White Thick cardstock was added for extra dimensions before it was adhered to Basic White layer wrapped with White Baker's Twine.  These layers were adhered to an additional layer of So Saffron cardstock.  All the layers were adhered to the center front of the Basic White Note Card that comes with matching envelopes.  

One could easily make a stack of notecards and have the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes decorated or ready to decorate...  they would make the perfect to give to so many people and it would make them smile that you carried enough to gift them with handmade cards and/or homebaked goodies.

• Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes

OTHER:

• Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack
• Blending Brushes
