Stamping with Friends Retiring Blog Hop - April 2022

Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks for multiple cards

Stamping with Friends Retiring Blog Hop Banner (April 2022)

Happy Saturday and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping along the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop as we share projects we have created using retiring products from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  We hope that we inspire you to create along with us.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

Decorative Masks.  Sponge Daubers.  Blending Brushes.  Embossing Folder.  Stamps.  Ink.  Paper.  What more could you want to create some any occasions cards?  Well, maybe, some sentiments and die-cuts, right?  Well, the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks and Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder are some must haves that I highly recommend that you have in your crafty stash, if you don't have them already!  And, guess what?  These retiring items also coordinate with a bundle from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog that you will want, too!

Project Details

The quickest way to use one of the patterns from this Plenty of Patterns Decorative Mask (retiring soon) set is to cut a piece of Very Vanilla or Basic White, grab a Classic Stampin' Pad, a Blending Brush  and, viola!  You have created four (4) card fronts for some 3" x 3" card bases.  You may also choose to use them as standard card size focal points as I did for today's project.

A 3" medallion was adhered to a 3-1/8" square, angled and adhered to a standard card base the same color as the ink.  I chose Soft Succulent, a 2021-2023 In Color.

The Sending Smiles Bundle (SNEAK PEEK from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog) was used for the detailed die-cut sentiments and the stamped sentiment label.

The inside was simply layered and decorated to compliment the card front.  The Special Moments sentiment was stamped with ink over the blended mask design.

The second card features a 3-3/4" Basic White square with a partial medallion created with sponge daubers using two ink colors.  I chose Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent.  The Sending Smiles sentiments were stamped with ink coordinating with the card base and die-cut with the coordinating dies.  A Basic White layer was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (retiring soon)

The inside was layered and decorated to compliment the card front.  The Positive Thoughts (recently retired) sentiment was stamped to coordinate with the card base.

More Inspiration

I hope you have been inspired by my project so you, too, can create this with your to it to share with someone.  Don't forget that these products are retiring soon (while supplies last!) so be sure you have what you want before it's gone.  Now it's time to continue along the blog hop to see what Mickey and the others have created to inspire you.  So click the next button below or look at the list below and continue along.  You definitely don't want to miss any.
