Hello friends!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do!  We love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.

This month we are sharing projects based on a Sketch Challenge!  I am sure that you will find lots of different interpretations and inspiration from this fun sketch.

Today's Project

We always need birthday cards, right?!  This month's sketch was the perfect layout to create one that I needed to add to my stash to mail this month.

Project Details

One of the Split Card Textures Dies was used to create a delicate detailed background.  The largest bloom and double leaf images from the Happiness Abounds Photopolymer Stamp Set were stamped with VersaMark ink onto Thick Basic White cardstock and heat embossed.  The images were water colored with Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Mint Macaron inks and a damp water brush.  The watercolored images were die-cut with coordinating dies.  The Stitched Rectangle Dies were used to create the inlaid rectangle focal point in the sketch.  The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and die cut with the smallest banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

More Inspiration

I hope that you have enjoyed this sketch and will use it yourself to create some cards for friends and family.  Up next on the blog hop is Aurélie where you can continue along to see what she and all the others have created.  I am sure you will be filled with lots of inspiration!  And should you be inspired, please leave us a comment...  we love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!
Have a blessed day!
