New at SU! Blog Hop Banner - 2023

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping with the New at SU! Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting!  Today we are showcasing products from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog and/or current Online Exclusives as we use our first sketch challenge.

Today's project is all about the sketch!  This sketch is so my style... and something that I use unknowingly a lot.  So today I chose a bundle from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog to get me to think creatively.

And this is what I created using this sketch as an inspiration...

Stampin' Up! Wishes All Around cards inspired by a sketch | Nature's INKspirations by Angie McKenzie

I couldn't resist making two cards as I actually needed to add both to my stash!  A Christmas card and a sympathy card with the exact same layout made it so easy to duplicate.

Project Details... The sprig wreath was used as the focal point for my cards along with the individual die-cut sprigs.

For the Christmas card, the Wishes All Around wreath die was die-cut twice from Shaded Spruce cardstock.  The individual sprigs were die-cut from a 1" strip of Basic White cardstock and colored with my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends. The snowflakes were also die-cut from a 1" strip of Basic White cardstock.

The Crumb Cake cardstock layer was stamped with the splattered Irresistible Blooms image using VersaMark Ink.  The die-cut images were arranged and adhered to the stamped layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The sentiment was white heat embossed on a 1" strip of Real Red cardstock and adhered likewise.

The inside was stamped and layered to compliment the card front allowing plenty of room to correspond to the recipient.  The sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink to compliment the colored berries.  The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap were stamped to complete the card ensemble.

For the sympathy card, the Wishes All Around wreath die was once each from Soft Sea Foam, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake cardstocks.  The individual sprigs were die-cut from a 1" strip of Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with my Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat and Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends. Additional springs were die-cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock scraps.

The Very Vanilla cardstock layer was stamped with the splattered Irresistible Blooms image using off-stamped Pecan Pie ink.  The die-cut images were arranged and adhered to the stamped layer with Mini Glue Dots.  The Go to Greetings sentiment was stamped in Pecan Pie ink on a 1" strip of Soft Sea Foam  cardstock which was adhered with Tear & Tape Adhesive along the edges allowing room for the sprigs to be arranged and tucked with more Mini Glue Dots.

The inside was layered and stamped to compliment the card front leaving plenty of room for a short note to the recipient.  The Hope You Know sentiment was just what I needed to express my condolences to a special friend.  The Very Vanilla Medium Envelope front and flap was stamped to complete the card ensemble.
