Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop - February 2018

Welcome to the February 2018 Edition of the Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop!  You are visiting Angie McKenzie in the USA.  I am showcasing cards I have received and sent as part of the Random Act of Kindness Card Group on Facebook (aka Group).

In any given month, Group members randomly select a few other members within the Group to send a RAK card to brighten their day - just because.  There is nothing like sharing our love of creating handmade cards to spread sunshine around the world!  Please feel free to join the Group if you would like to participate in the RAK cards movement (blogging is not mandatory but definitely adds to the fun).  #imbringingRAKcardsback #MakeACardSendACard

January was a rather busy, cold and snowy month for me, so I have been a bit delayed in mailing the cards that I made (HINT:  they get posted this week!) Better late than never when it comes to handmade cards, right?!  RIGHT!  ;)

Now sit back and relax for a while with a nice cup of hot coffee or tea while I share some beauties with you!

Oh So Eclectic is definitely one of my favorite sets and this card is so "me" - my style, my colors!
Isn't the touch of Clear Wink of Stella fabulous on these flowers?!
And the Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding is perfect for mailing.

Thanks for the reminder, Shauna, that this time of year is just around the corner!

Another my style card... using a lot of my favs
featuring Jar of Love and Everyday Jars Framelits!!!
This was Marian's swap card at OnStage Melbourne in November 2017.
Loved receiving a card from across the waters...  <3
Can you believe these beauties I received last month from around the world!
I definitely felt the kindness being spread around the world and loved a lot!

What I love about this Group is that there is no pressure to get the cards out by a certain time because life happens and the cards are appreciated whenever they are received.  Granted you may feel some pressure because of all the excitement and seeing what others are sending.  Just remember - no worries, no stress!

Now here are the cards that I enjoyed making for the January events!  I hope they bring a smile to your face and/or inspire you in some way with your creativity!

I had fun coloring these card fronts over several days.  Putting them all together last week with good intentions of mailing them the same day (National Send a Card to a Friend Day!) but I didn't make it before the post office closed.

The RAKs 4 Kids event is going on during February for the kiddos of members in the group!  It's an event just for kids... they can make and/or receive cards.  Such a fun event that I had to click "going" for!  Here's one card that I've made so far...  I have several more to do before the month is over.  :)
