Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop - May 2018

by - Saturday, May 26, 2018

Thanks for joining us on another Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop!  You are visiting Angie McKenzie in the USA.  I am showcasing the cards I have received and sent as part of the Random Act of Kindness Card Group on Facebook (aka Group).

In any given month, we each randomly select a few members from the Group to send a RAK card to, to brighten their day.  There is nothing like sharing our love of creating handmade cards to spread sunshine around the world!  Please feel free to join the Group if you would like to participate in the RAK cards movement (blogging is not mandatory).  #imbringingRAKcardsback #MakeACardSendACard #randomactofkindness

May was another exciting month for me, so sit back, put your feet up and relax for a while... you might want to warm up your coffee or tea, first though, as I share some delightful handmade cards with you!

Look at all these beauties I received this month from around the world!
I definitely felt the kindness being spread around the world and loved a lot!!!

I received a return RAK from Marie Hook last week that really tugged at my heartstrings.  Marie CAS(e)d a card her 8 year old granddaughter made while they were having a fun crafting day together over the holidays.  The only designing that Marie did for the card was to suggest that Livvie add the fern stamp.  Everything else from the colors to the layout was all Livvie.  Awesome card, don't you think?!?  And, yes, I agree that we have a "budding" RAK Group member with Livvie, Marie!  We need to make sure she participates in our next RAKs 4 Kids event.

This month has flown by for me as it's the end of the school year for my son with summer vacation  starting June 1st - yay!!!  Plus, I have been busy with my parents' move later this summer - it's going to be wonderful to have them five minutes away versus ten hours!!!  So far now, I only had time to make one RAK card this month (thanks to a challenge), but guess what?!  The month is not over until Thursday so there's PLENTY of time to make some more!!! ;)
