Breathtaking Thank You for International Blog Highlights | February 2020

National Send a Card to a Friend Day is this coming Friday.  There are so many reasons that we can send a card to friend - so why not send them a special thank you?  This is exactly what I am highlighting today for Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights.

The Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp is so amazing and has countless possibilities for your creative mojo.  Today's card is the second that I have created from one watercolored background (you can click here to see the first card).  The third card will be posted later this week and I cannot wait to make multiples of these cards in time for Friday's mailing.  #nationalsendacardtoafriendday

Heat embossing on Shimmery White cardstock allowed for some relaxing watercoloring with an aqua painter.  After it was completely dry, the watercolored background was die cut with one of the Painted Labels Dies and layered onto a Daffodil Delight layer that was partially embossed with the same background stamp.  The sentiments from Kindness & Compassion and A Big Thank You were heat embossed onto scraps of Melon Mambo and fussy cut.  The Old Olive layer was embossed twice with the Subtle embossing folder to create a crosshatch texture like linen fabric.  White Baker's Twine was wrapped around twice and tied off with a bow to finish up the card front.

The inside is just as important as the front so the layers were repeated with A Big Thank You sentiment stamped over the Positive Thoughts floral image.
