It's time for the August 2020 Challenge over at The Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge! For this month's challenge designed by me, you can select any three of the design elements in a row on the board going in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction. I have chosen the diagonal row of Emboss | Button | Blue, the horizontal row of Yellow | Button | Book and the vertical row of Blue | Book | Triangle.
Happy August y'all!!! I cannot believe that it is time to be thinking about school again! This homeschool family is still enjoying our much needed summer break. There's nothing like enjoying the outdoors to feel relaxed. And it's with that feeling that I created this month's inspiration for you!
Inspiration for the book bag came from my son's quilted preschool backpack (he's 16 now!). The stitched detailing, the embossed buttons, and the colors brought smiles to this boy mom's face as this 3D project came to life thanks to the amazing All Dressed Up dies. The Mini Open Book Easel card along side it was a must for the Challenge Grid!!!
Can't you just imagine a teacher having these on your child's school desk with the book bag filled with a box of crayons, chalk or a special treat alongside the book card with images and/or sentiments to make your child excited to be back at school?!? The possibilities are endless for themes and colors!
I hope that today's project has inspired you to participate in The Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge, #JOSTTT020. Please be sure to pop over to receive more inspiration from the other design team members and I look forward to seeing your entry (entries) on the blog!
Have a blessed day!
YOU CAN MAKE THIS PROJECT, TOO!

What a fun project! Love the bold colors and the stitching on the book bag, and the book easel card is really cute. Here's hoping all the kids get to go back to school in person sometime this school year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cheryl! And, yes, that would be awesome for all kids! :)
