Happy Saturday and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping along the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop as we showcase projects we are working on to inspire you to create along with us.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

It's only fitting that on the first snow of the season is happening with sharing what I've been working on!  Who doesn't love a little snow, right?!  Not too much... just a little to get you excited that the fluffy stuff is falling from the skies...

Snowman Season fussy cut snowmen

There's nothing like dancing snowmen!  It just makes you want to get up and dance with them, right?!?

Project Details

OnStage@Home is in full swing here in the States so I needed a break from all the new exciting things that will be available before you know it!  So I was having some fun crafting with some friends online early yesterday morning and decided to use some different products than what some of the others were using as I have a Holiday Bazaar that I'm participating in next month and was needing some cute Christmas cards.  The layout is totally thanks to the amazing friend of mine...

Snowman Season Christmas Card idea 2021

The Snowman Season snowmen were inked with Tuxedo Black Memento and stamped onto Basic White Cardstock.  The shading was added with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Marker while the carrot noses were done with the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker.  You can't have a snowman without a carrot nose, right?!?  The snowmen were fussy cut and adhered to some Basic White circles I punched with my 1-1/4" punch (you could use your Layering Circles Dies for this, too) with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The circles were adhered to a strip of Night of Navy Cardstock accented with a few off set scrap strips of Basic White Cardstock.... you know, those strips that you seem to want to hang on to instead of tossing in the trash.  **WINK**

The decorated strip was adhered to a Basic White Cardstock layer which was randomly stamped with the Snowflake Wishes cluster image stamp which was off-stamped with Smoky Slate for a silver effect to coordinate with the silver Simply Elegant Trim adhered to the back of the center snowman.  A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added as some sparkling snowflakes for a finishing touch.

Inside look of the Snowman Season Christmas Card

The inside was simply stamped to compliment the card front.  The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy ink to compliment the Night of Navy card base.  I chose a Christmas sentiment; however, other sentiments may be used as this card design could be used for many occasions during the winter months. And, of course, the envelope front and flap were off-stamped with the snowflakes.
