Honeybee Home Customer Thank You

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping along with other members of Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program.  I have learned so much through this training group since I first became a demonstrator that I had to participate in it once again as there is always something to learn.  We love doing our Monthly Team Blog Hops with our general theme for all the hops being customer and team thank you cards.

Today's Project

Today's project is a thank you card that I am providing to my customers this month as a thank you for their orders.  New catalogs are always such exciting times with lots of new things to see and inspire us to want to create even more than we do.  I love spoiling my customers and I hope that they enjoy my gratitude as much as I enjoy sharing new ideas and techniques with them.

Project Details

I have seen some beautiful inspiration for black and gold cards on the internet so I decided to give it a go with the lovely Honeybee Home Bundle which is part of the Heart & Home Suite from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.  The highlighted images from the stamp set for today's project are the penstemon and honeybee images.

The penstemon image was stamped in VersaMark ink, stamped onto a Basic Black cardstock layer and heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder.  The image was then stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamped onto Basic White cardstock scraps.  The blooms were colored with Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends while blending them with Dark Balmy Blue and Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends to create the blue violet color.  The leaves were colored with Light Shaded Spruce and Dark Old Olive to create a color similar to Garden Green.  The honeybee image was stamped in Memento and colored with Honeybee and Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Write Markers while the wings were touched with Clear Wink of Stella.

The colored images were die-cut with the coordinating Honeybee Blooms Dies. The Happy & Heartfelt sentiment was stamped in Memento onto a 3/4" strip of Basic White scraps and die-cut with the All Dressed Up label die.   The penstemon die-cut was adhered to the Stitched So Sweetly Die with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The honeybee and sentiment die-cuts were adhered to the die-cut with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The gold Simply Elegant Trim was frayed and pulled apart using single strands to compliment the delicate honeybee wings.  The strands were adhered to the back of the die-cut with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

The inside was layered to compliment the card front.  The envelope front and flap\ will be stamped when the card is sent to my customers.
