Eden's Garden Note Cards

Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop Banner | Nature's INKspirations by Angie McKenzie

Hey y'all!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do!  We love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.

This month we are sharing things related to our Thankful for You theme!  I cannot wait to see all the harvest time and autumn inspiration and hope that you enjoy the one that I am sharing with you today.

Today's Project

I love making note cards, especially multiples!  And they are even more special when you choose to bundle them as a gift to share with someone when you are thankful for them being in your life.

Eden's Garden Note Cards

Project Details

The Stamparatus was my friend with creating these note cards.  Sponge daubers were used to apply the three different ink colors starting with Crushed Curry followed by Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green onto the largest Eden's Garden image.

Sponge Daubers were used to apply ink to this Eden's Garden image for note cards

The sentiment was inked with Garden Green and stamped onto 1/2" strips of Very Vanilla Cardstock.  The panels were adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals after the Very Vanilla Baker's Twine was wrapped around the 3" x 4-1/2" Very Vanilla stamped layers and tied off with a bow.

The layers were adhered with my favorite adhesive of choice, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, which allows for plenty of wiggle room when applying to the card bases from the Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes.  The insides were left blank for correspondence for any occasion.   The matching envelopes were stamped on the front and envelope flap with a smaller image from Eden's Garden.

Eden's Garden packaging for Note Cards and Envelopes

The Soft Succulent Eden's Garden Cotton Paper was the perfect addition to crumple in the Acetate Card Box to keep the Note Cards and Envelopes from moving around in a box usually used for standard sized cards.  An extra layer and stamped sentiment along with some Very Vanilla Baker's Twine was the perfect touch to finish off the packaging for this note cards gift set.

More Inspiration

I hope that this project has inspired you in more than one way.  Up next on the blog hop is Jo where you can continue along to see what she and all the others have created.  I am sure you will be filled with lots of inspiration!  And should you be inspired, please leave us a comment...  we love to hear from you.
