Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - November 2021 | Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper

A glimpse of the Stationery Cards and Coordinating Envelopes Using the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello friends!  I hope you are doing amazing on this terrific Tuesday.  Today I am hopping with some Crafty Collaborators along the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop as we share lots of inspiration related to Designer Series Paper.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

The pen pal in me has always loved stationery.... stationery with lovely borders, matching envelopes and simple to store.  There's nothing like using the beautiful Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper to create some custom stationery cards for just this purpose.

Project Details

Cardstock, DSP and envelopes is all you need to create these simple, elegant stationery cards that anyone would love to have.

Basic White Thick Cardstock is trimmed to the size of a standard card front.  One piece of the cardstock will create four of the stationery card bases.  The DSP of your choice is cut to a smaller size and adhered to the stationery card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You can keep this next layer simple or use a border die like I did.  I used the border die from the Eden Dies which coordinates beautifully with this  Specialty Designer Series Paper.

To complete the ensemble, I used my retired envelope dies (Stampin' Up! really needs to reintroduce these dies for all market size envelopes!) for the envelope liners.  Without the dies, you can trim piece of designer series paper down to the width just slightly smaller than your envelope and the height would be just under the gummed section to the bottom.  Now using the envelope flap as your guide, trim the top edge of your paper.  Slip it inside and viola, you have your envelope liner!

This is my most favorite way to use designer series paper (in layman's terms, pretty patterned papers)...   what is your favorite way to use these papers?!?

And just look at the rest of the pack from this amazing pack of paper... so many more wonderful stationery cards can be made this same way with or without the die.  You might even wish to add a layer of simple, elegant stamping using the coordinating Eden's Garden Cling Stamp Set.
