Happy Saturday and welcome to my blog!  Today I am hopping along the Ink.Stamp.Share Monthly Blog Hop as we share projects which we have created from our Sketch Challenge.  We hope that we inspire you to create along with us.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

The minute I saw this sketch, I was kicking myself that I didn't have the new Hello Beautiful Bundle to play with the hexagon dies to identically replicate the sentiment shape in this sketch...

So instead, I remembered a classic die that I did have which would be a similar effect from the Tasteful Labels Dies!

Project Details

Yes, you can say that I have been having fun playing with the Eden's Garden Bundle lately.  It has all been inspired by a recent shopping trip while making a return and glimpsing over at the linen section of the department store... I love it when the stamp sets that we have are so on trend with what is out in the marketplace!  **swoon**

The background was stamped with Pear Pizzazz onto a 5-1/4" x 4" Basic White cardstock layer.  Each image in the Eden's Garden stamp set was used to create this toile pattern.  1" strips were cut off of each side and adhered to a Pear Pizzazz cardstock layer of the same size.  The remaining center section of the stamped layer was trimmed an 1/8" on each side and then adhered to the center.  The assembled layer was adhered to a Thick Basic White card base.  The sprig Eden die-cut was fussy cut apart to create the separate sprig leaves.  The sentiment was stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink onto Basic White scraps and die-cut with the Tasteful Labels Die.  The embossed edge of the die-cut was colored using the brush tip of the coordinating Stampin' Write Marker.  The embellished sentiment panel was assembled and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals onto the card front.  A Fancy Linen Thread Bow (aka Billie Bow) was adhered to the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Mini Glue Dots could also be used).

I enjoyed creating this card so much that I had to play around with some more color palettes - Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Calypso Coral!

The Basic White cardbases were left blank inside allowing for lots of correspondence space.  The insides of the So Saffron and Calypso Coral card bases were layered with Basic White.  And the envelope fronts and flaps were also stamped to compliment the card fronts.

More Inspiration

I hope you have been inspired by my monochromatic cards so you, too, can create something amazing using this sketch as a guide.  Now it's time to continue along the blog hop to see what the others have created to inspire you.  You definitely don't want to miss any.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!
Have a blessed day!
