Hello friends!  I hope you are doing well on this Mojo Monday.  Today I am hopping with some Crafty Collaborators along the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop as we share inspiration for today's Sketch Challenge.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

A family friend asked me the other day if I ever made sympathy cards... of course, was my response.  Granted this type card is always the most emotional ones to make as my heart aches with each element that is created.  Thus the card is made with lots of prayers for the recipient(s).  This sketch was just the inspiration I needed to create this much needed card.

Project Details

This card was specifically made for grieving parents who lost their son unexpectedly.  My mother's heart helped me select soothing colors for this card.  The lattice die from the Organic Beauty Dies was used to create a mask for the vertical strips.  The Pool Party ink was applied with a Blending Brush.

The Olive Branch image was stamped three times with Soft Sea Foam ink, fussy cut and adhered to the largest Stylish Shapes circle die-cut.  Two additional sections of the image were stamped, fussy cut and adhered to the back of the die-cut for additional depth.  The Inspired Thoughts sentiment was stamped with Sahara Sand ink and die-cut with the Stylish Shapes banner die.

The inside was simply stamped to compliment the card front leaving plenty of room for our friends to write their condolences.   The envelope front and flap were also stamped to compliment the card.
