Today's Project

Thanksgiving is just around the corner here in the US and will be here before we know it!  I am blessed that my parents with be joining us the festivities as we count our many blessings.  For today's theme, I chose to focus on my table setting in preparation of this day of gratitude.

Project Details

Place cards were created with the fun Alphabest Bundle!  The leaf background image was stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink on narrow strips of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the coordinating Best Label Punch.

The letters for the names were stamped with Early Espresso ink onto the punched labels.  TIP:  Arrange your labels as you'll use them and stamp the same letter as many times as needed before switching to another letter (ie, all the "m", then the "p", etc.).

The Nuts About Squirrels squirrel outline was stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  The coordinating fill images were stamped with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede ink with the acorn cap being off-stamped with Crumb Cake for a lighter shade.  The squirrel was lovingly fussy-cut and adhered to each of the place cards.

My Stamparatus came in handy to quickly stamp multiples of the large Fond of Autumn image.  The image was die-cut with the coordinating die and the unused images were set aside for additional items to be added to the table before the special gathering.  The oak leaves were colored with a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker; the acorns with Bronze and Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends; and the smaller leaves with Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends.

Natural Finish 7/8" Ribbon was wrapped around the napkins and tied off with a knot.  The ribbon ends were stamped with the Fond of Autumn small leaf image and Early Espresso ink.  The Holly Berry label die-cut was stamped to the knot.  The colored acorn/leaf image was adhered to the label with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

  1. This is what is most fantastic about this team, each of us uses his daily life to create according to the themes and we discover a little of the habits of each one as the jumps ^^. The idea of towel rings is perfect and seemingly nothing, there is a hell of a lot of work to do to prepare all this! Thank you for sharing Angie!

  3. Your table looks so rich and inviting! The colours are so warm and opulent. I like the way you’ve used Alphabest - I toyed with it myself for this. It’s so useful, isn’t it?
