Today's project is all about Anything but a Card!  This is always such a fun challenge at this time of year!  I am share some treats that I am sharing with some very special friends using the Easter Lilies stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Easter Lilies Alcove Treat Box | Nature's INKspirations by Angie McKenzie

Creating this treat box to deliver to some of my parents' friends at their Senior Living Community shelves near their apartment doors was a fun project that is still in the works.  Inspired by a doorhanger that I made for them a few years ago, I knew I wanted to try a box this time so they enjoy it beyond Easter.

Project Details...

One sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock will create this cute box and some of the filler.  A smidge more is needed to finish off the back panel to insert into the box.  With this being an insert, the residents may pull it out and use it as a bookmark, if they so desire.  Below are some bird's eye views of the box!

The lily image was stamped with Crumb Cake ink onto Basic White cardstock.  The image was colored with Dark Lemon Lolly and Light Parakeet Party Stampin' Blends Markers.  The leaves and stem were  stamped likewise and colored with Light Parakeet several times to create a shaded effect.

The band was embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder wrapped loosely around the assembled box.

The box was double wrapped with the Parakeet Party ribbon and tied off with a bow.  The fussycut stems were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The lily bloom was adhered with a Stampin' Dimensional with a tad of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to assure perfect placement.

The stuffing was created with Crumb Cake and Parakeet Party scraps measuring approximately 1/8" x 3" each.  The scraps were cut, scrunched and crumpled to create the perfect amount of fluff.
