Magnolia Mood for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop - March 2024 | Fun Folds

Today's Project

Today’s project was inspired by a project that the lovely Mikaela Titheridge shared on the Crafty Carrot. I hope today’s project inspires you to give this fun-fold a try as you choose which Designer Series Papers  you want to use!

Project Details

Starting with a scored piece of Petal Pink cardstock, the cardstock was folded and burnished to close the cardstock to a standard size card.  The card will open by the one piece on the right where the Lovely & Sweet label die-cut is adhered.

I chose two DSP designs (one from Sale-a-Bration and one from the January-April Mini Catalog) and the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder to compliment the large Magnolia Mood image. The Darling Details and Happy Little Things sentiments were randomly stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto one Crumb Cake deckled circle.  The white heat embossed vellum magnolia was die-cut and rubbed on the reverse side with a stylus tip.  A second same size Deckled Circles die-cut was used to  sandwich the Natural 1/4” Wavy Trim to close the card with a bow.  The white heat embossed Happy Little Things sentiment was fussy cut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.  2023-2025 In Color™ Dots were added to compliment the Softly Stippled DSP from Sale-a-Bration as a finishing touch.

The inside was layered and stamped to compliment the card front.  The Magnolia Mood image was stamped randomly across the two Basic White panels in Crumb Cake.  The Happy Little Things sentiment was the perfect of words for the recipient.  The Basic White Medium Envelope flap was embossed to complete the card ensemble.
