Layers of Beauty in Blackberry Bliss for the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop

Today's Project

The Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks were a must for highlighting the amazing beauty of this ink color!  With five different masks, five different tones of this lush, rich color were able to be highlighted by making each layer a tad darker than the last.

The blending was done on a 5" x 7" piece of Basic White cardstock.  This allowed room for perfect alignment of the masks along with plenty of room to create the layered tiles.  A 1/2" scrap from the trimming was perfect to stamp the Layers of Beauty sentiment.

The tiles were adhered to a Whisper White inked, Distressed Tile embossed layer of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  After embossing, the ink was gently rubbed with a microfiber cloth to disperse the ink.

Splatters were added with the brush tip of the Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend Marker for a finishing touch.

The remnants of the blended image were cut to three additional tiles and adhered to the Basic White card layer allowing plenty of room to correspond to the recipient for any occasion.  The Basic White Medium Envelope flap was embossed to complete the card ensemble.
