Today's Project
Have you started making your Christmas cards, yet?!? Well, I've made only a handful since the summer so I'm in multiple cardmaking mode. **wink**
This month's color challenge is perfect timing for me so I can continue with my multiples! Granted I love my one of a kinds, but when it's time to start seeing piles of them... multiples are my friend!
Here's the color challenge that we had to choose from...
Well, I'm a traditional girl when it comes to Christmas decorating, but couldn't resist having a go at trying a coastal vibe, too, for the challenge!
Project Details
Many of you know how much I love to color!
The holly image from the Sentimental Wishes stamp set was just what I needed to make some mutliples!
The holly image was stamped five times on Basic White cardstock, colored with various Stampin' Blends Markers then die-cut with the coordinating die. Each colored die-cut was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to two additional die-cuts to create solid, subtle dimension.

An assembled holly die-cut was used as a placement guide for stamping the holly image on five Basic White cardstock layers.
Score lines were made using the Score blade on my Paper Trimmer. On the back side of the Basic White card layer, align each side along the narrow right section of the Trimmer. Score at 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" on each short side followed by the each long side to create the symmetrical border. TIP: Run the score blade down and up twice before moving to the next measurement.
Adhere the scored layer to a coordinating cardstock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere to a coordinating card base.
The inside was layered, stamped, colored and scored to compliment the card front. The images were stamped to allow room for corresponding to the recipients with a short note. For those where a longer note may be needed, additional inserts (ie, copy paper or cardstock) will be stamped to coordinate with the card.
