Nature's INKspirations

Another Valentine

I CASE-d (copy and selectively edit) my son's Valentine's Day card from Chris S. Smith - my incredibly, wonderful Creative Coach & Stampin' Up Demonstrator!!  She had her card as one of four+ goodies at her most recent Stamp Camp last Saturday.

The minute I saw it, I knew what I was going to do to make it mine.  All I did was add a little color and move/rotate the stitched square and heart.  And woo-lah!  It became an APM Creation.

Since my son is a tween (almost a teenager!) I knew not to get too mushy with him so I stamped motivational sentiments and lots of xoxo as I could without embarrassing him too much.  Take a look at the overall card:

I got a wonderful smile and "thanks mom, I needed that" from my boy.  My hug came closer to bedtime, but at least I got one!  Nothing like being a mom of a boy approaching his teen years!

Hope this gives you some inspiration!  Until next time, have a great day and remember to count your blessings!
