Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - February 2019

Welcome to our February 2019 Demonstrator Training Blog Hop!  I am so thrilled to be a part of Kylie's Demonstrator Training Group.  There is an invaluable amount of information and support to help demonstrators in this group to reach their Stampin' Up!® goals, not only from Kylie, but from her amazing guest speakers and even some of my fellow demonstrator members.

For our hop today, I decided to make a #simplestamping birthday card that is also #loveitchopit!

This card showcases three of the designs in the fabulous Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE with a $50 order through March 31, 2019.  This is paper is so versatile in that one side is full of color and the reverse side is black & white which is perfect for classic cards or cards that you wish to add your own touch of coloring to via pencils and/or markers!

The Highland Heather floral DSP is so classic and only needed the butterfly which I fussy cut from the same pack of DSP!  The reverse side of the butterfly print has the classic black & white gingham which I trimmed down to highlight the birthday sentiment from Vertical Greetings which is adhered with Foam Adhesive Strips.

And there's nothing like coordinating the front of the card to the inside.  The little butterfly from the Butterfly Gala stamp set that coordinates with the DSP seemed to be the perfect touch to finish off the inside of the card.  And we mustn't forget to stamp the envelope as it is a nice finishing touch for our handmade cards... giving the recipient a sneak peek of what's inside.
