CAS Color Challenge!

Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop Banner | Nature's INKspirations by Angie McKenzie

Hello friends!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do!  We usually love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you.   However, this month we're a week later due to the exciting trips that many of us made to OnStage - our annual Stampin' Up! convention!  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.

This month we are sharing projects based on our Color and/or CAS Challenge!  I am sure that you will find lots of different interpretations and inspiration from this fun blogger's choice challenge.

Today's Project

When you have a several choices for a challenge, it's fun to mix things up!

Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz | Garden Green, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent

I chose two of the greens and three neutrals to compliment them.

I also aimed to keep the layout as Clean and Simple as possible.

Project Details

Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen were the colors I chose to use for today's color challenge.

I had some extra die-cuts leftover from my OnStage swaps before I realized I didn't always have to die-cut the entire large image each time!

The images were previously stamped with Early Espresso so it was only natural for me to select my current favorite greens to color leaves using my Stampin' Blends Markers.

The acorns were colored with Light Crumb Cake and Bronze Stampin' Blends Markers.

The Very Vanilla card layer was embossed with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.

A simple Linen Thread bow was tied and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Soft Seedlings sentiment was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink and tucked behind the die-cut.

The True Beauty sentiment was stamped with Evening Evergreen, fussy cut and adhered to 1/4" strips of Evening Evergreen.

The Very Vanilla Medium Envelope flap was embossed to compliment the card front.

More Inspiration

I hope that you have enjoyed this sketch and will use it yourself to create some cards for friends and family.  Up next on the blog hop is Karen (she's amazing!) where you can continue along to see what she and all the others have created.  I am sure you will be filled with lots of inspiration!  And should you be inspired, please leave us a comment...  we love to hear from you.
