Hello Ladybug for the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop - February 2023 | Pop-Up Card Technique

Hello Ladybug Triple Cube Card

Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Banner | Nature's INKspirations by Angie McKenzie

Hello friends!  I hope that you are having a wonderful February!  Today I am hopping with with some demonstrator friends along the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop as we share lots of inspiration related to the pop-up card technique.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

Today's project was indeed a challenge for me... so many choices that I wanted to try.

A Splitcoaststampers video creating this fun Triple Cube Card narrowed down the layout!  Thanks to further inspiration from Frenchie, Tracie St. Louis, and a card I made for my Seniors Class last month, today's project was created!

Project Details

The Real Red card base was highlighted with Basic White layers embossed with the Stitched Greenery Die.

The Hello Ladybug leaf image was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink onto the sixteen embossed squares.  A damp water brush was applied to some of leaves for additional texture.

The Ladybug Builder Punch was used to create the ladybugs from Basic Black and Basic White cardstocks.

The wings were stamped with Real Red ink and the dots with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Each assembled ladybug was rounded with a bone folder before it adhered to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.

The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a Stylish Shapes banner die-cut.  Two additional die-cuts were used to attach the banner to the inside.

Five embossed, stamped rectangles were adhered to the inside and back of the cube cardbase.  A sixth rectangle was adhered for corresponding to the recipient.

Fussy cuts flowers stamped with Real Red ink were adhered for finishing embellishments.
