Love Cats Valentine | Make a Card, Send a Card

Hello friends!

Sometimes it is fun to make a card and send a card to someone you don't know and that's exactly what I did last week!

Being a demonstrator allows me to meet other demonstrators from around the world whether it's near or far.  A demonstrator group that I am in had a Valentine Card Share that I couldn't resist participating in, afterall, I love to send happy mail!

Love Cats for a special Valentine (close-up) | Nature's INKspirations by Angie McKenzie

Having two black feral cats who are family to us now - we've been keeping them indoors this winter - I could not resist creating this card as both cats love hanging out with me in my craft space!

I am sure, if I ever get to chat and/or meet Robin that I would feel the same way about her especially since she lives in the mountains of Tennessee amongst the trees!  So I know that stamping with her would be a lot of fun!

This adorable cat was fussy cat and sliced to hang over the tree branch.  The branch from die-cut from the Aspen Dies and embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder to create a weathered look.  The leaves were die-cut with the Aspen Dies and the beautiful Sale-a-Bration Favored Flowers DSP.

The wooden sign was created with Crumb Cake cardstock and the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  The scoring blade from the Paper Trimmer was used to the individual planks.  Linen Thread and the Take Your Pick Tool was used to create the "rope" on the sign.  The Deckled Rectangles Dies were used to frame the sentiment - yes, this was custom fit by shortening the rectangle that worked with the sentiment.

The inside was stamped, layered and fussy-cut to compliment the card front.  The Real Red hearts were stamped and off-stamped to create the color variations.

I hope that you have been inspired by today's card which isn't just for Valentine's Day... it would be perfect for so many occasions.

Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the world!
Have a blessed day!
