Happy Thursday, y'all!  I'm glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop as we share inspiration for this month's Color Challenge! There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, water, or smoothie as we share some handmade projects with you!

Today's Project

Today's project is a birthday card for a friend who had a birthday earlier this month.  This month's Color Inspiration Challenge was just what I needed to create this much needed card that needs to be posted in the mail this week.

Ink and Inspiration - May 2023 | Color Challenge
Blueberry Bushel | Coastal Cabana | Crumb Cake |
Daffodil Delight | Calypso Coral | Granny Apple Green

Project Details

Inspired by the colors and the photo inspiration, the Everlasting Beauty floral images were stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Basic White cardstock.  The images colored with Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Combo Markers were fussy cut and arranged on a Granny Apple Green 2-3/8" circle.  Gorgeously Made Dies were used to create layering elements from Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Blueberry Bushel cardstocks.

The Gorgeously Made ticking fabric was stamped and off-stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink on a Basic White card layer panel.  The Something Fancy sentiment was stamped on a Crumb Cake cardstock strip prior to die-cutting.  The Blueberry Bushel layer was created by extending the length of the die-cut with  partial die-cutting.

The inside was layered and stamped to compliment the card front.  The Something Fancy sentiment was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink over the Everlasting Beauty image.

The card ensemble was completed by stamping the front and the flap of the Basic White Medium Envelope to compliment the card.
