Hello and welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! We are glad you have joined us and look forward to spending time with you as we share inspiration from our theme - Let's Celebrate! So sit back and enjoy your favorite cuppa as you enjoy your trip Around the World on Wednesday!
Today's Project
This month we are celebrating whatever we wish whether it's personal or business related. So I have opted to celebrate the release of our new 2026-2028 In Colors™!!!
Coloring with Blends is so relaxing especially with a tad bit of fussy-cutting!
Project Details
The fun began with inking up the amazing Flowers Fair Background Stamp... decisions, decisions. Black ink or Smoky Slate?! When in doubt, stamp one in each color!
Next, I unwrapped all my new 2026-2028 In Color Stampin' Blends Combo Packs and prepped a test strip of color swatches. I am soooo loving all of these new colors!!! I pulled out my Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends to bring in a softer shade of green.
I have enjoyed the Eyelet Blooms Die (April 2026 Product of the Month still available while supplies last) and couldn't resist trying it with our new Impressions Plate.
The embossed impression has a lovely quilted effect so, of course, I had to use it and the die-cut version!
The Eyelet Blooms layers were each trimmed down to 3-3/8" x 4-3/16" and adhered to double Barely Blush layers (3-3/8" x 4-5/8") with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. **NOTE: The die-cut version was adhered to a Basic White cardstock layer before adhering to the Barely Blush layers.
A section of the colored flowers was cut to 3-3/8" wide. The top of the flowers along the top row were fussy-cut to create a delicate edged border. The length of the layer was then cut and adhered to the eyelet layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The Scalloped Blooms sentiment was inked and stamped onto the large Stylish Shapes Dies banner. The overlapping edge was wrapped around to the back of the assembled layers and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The completed layers were adhered to the Barely Blush card base.
Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color™ Dots were the perfect finishing touch.
The inside of the cards were stamped, colored, fussy-cut and layered to compliment the card fronts leaving plenty of room to correspond to the recipients. The Basic White Medium Envelope flaps were stamped to complete the card ensembles.
