Hello friends! I hope you're enjoying your day! The Global Design Project has a sketch challenge this week that I couldn't pass up as I needed to create a sympathy card!
The retired Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder was a must for this card. Embossing it partially off of the Very Vanilla cardstock layer allowed it to flow with the sketch.
The berries were highlighted with my retired Gold Wink of Stella... the new Golden Glow Shimmer Brush (which I don't have, yet!) would work just as nicely, I'm sure.
Instead of doing the horizontal stripe, I chose to make it a vertical stripe along the edge of the wreath and doubled up the layer with Mossy Meadow cardstock and a strip of Gold Foil.
The Framed All Around sentiment was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink onto Very Vanilla scraps, fussy cut and adhered to the assembled layer with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The inside was layered and stamped to compliment the card front allowing room for writing a personal note to the recipient.
The retired Very Vanilla Medium Envelope was stamped on the front and flap to compliment what's inside.
I hope this has given you inspiration to use the Global Design Project challenges as inspirations for some of your card creations. Thanks for visiting my little corner of the world!
I would love to be your Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator and Creative Coach!
You can purchase any of these supplies from my online store if you live in the USA
and do not already have a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator.
