Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!!!!  I'm so glad that you're here and hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I am hopping with some of my talented stamping friends from around the world who love creating with Stampin' Up!® products as much as I do!  We love hopping on the second weekends of the month - Saturday or Sunday depending on where you are in the world - and love sharing lots of inspiration with you.  There are several of us hopping today - you will find the list to follow along towards the bottom of my blog post - so sit back and relax with your favorite cuppa as you peruse the hop.

This month we are sharing projects based on our Color Challenge!  I am sure that you will find lots of different interpretations and inspiration from this fun challenge.

Today's Project

Last month was the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat and one of the items in the kit was the upcoming March Online Exclusives Forever Florals Bundle.  It would definitely been first on my list for my preorder if it hadn't been part of this amazing Virtual Class Kit!  We also received an exclusive stamp set for the event.  Needless to say I love them both as they are filled with amazing fonts and florals!  I couldn't resist using both of the stamp sets along with the January Product of the Month stamp set - Fabulous Sayings - for this month's Spring vibes color challenge.

Here is the Color Challenge...

Project Details

I needed to create a card for a family friend... she's currently in rehab recovering from knee surgery, so I knew CAS(e)ing this one card from the Virtual Card Making Retreat was a must as it one of my favorites.  **wink**

Inspired by the texture of the basket in the challenge photo, I created a square from 1/2" strips of the Cream Natural Hues 12" x 12" Textured Specialty Paper.  The strips were adhered with liquid glue then blended and stamped with Pecan Pie ink.

The Fabulous Sayings sentiment was white heat embossed on a square of Light Azure Afternoon Two-Tone Cardstock.  The 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat sentiment was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink onto a strip of Basic White cardstock.

The intricate detailed circle Forever Florals Die was cut twice from Basic White Cardstock.  The leaves were colored with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends while the flora was colored with Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends.

2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat small flowers were stamped with Pretty in Pink ink onto scraps of Basic White cardstock and die cut with coordinating Forever Florals Dies.

The small cluster Forever Florals Die was cut twice from Basic White Cardstock.  The centers were colored with the Light Darling Duckling Stampin' Blends Marker.

The floral elements were arranged and adhered to the square background with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The assembled square was adhered to a Basic White All in a Row embossed layer which was adhered to a Thick Basic White cardbase.

Iridescent Faceted Gems were added as a finishing touch.

The inside of the card was stamped and layered to compliment the card front.  The left inside panel will be adhered to the inside after special note is handwritten to our family friend.

The Basic White Medium Envelope front and flap were stamped to complete the card ensemble.

More Inspiration

I hope that you have enjoyed this color challenge and will use it yourself to create some cards for friends and family.  Up next on the blog hop is Karen where you can continue along to see what she and all the others have created.  I am sure you will be filled with lots of inspiration!  And should you be inspired, please leave us a comment...  we love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!
Have a blessed day!
