Timeless Charm for the July Online Exclusives Blog Hop

Today's Project

This amazing Timeless Charm Bundle that demonstrators were able to preorder last month was the perfect choice for a special birthday card I needed to get in the mail today.  

Project Details

The colors from the current Global Design Project #401 Color Challenge were just the inspiration I needed to create this special card for my niece as she approaches her senior year of high school.  

The largest watercolor background was stamped in the order of the color challenge on a Basic White Cardstock layer.  The lined floral image was stamped in Pebbled Path ink and off stamped over the Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath images.  The lined leaves were stamped in Pebbled Path ink over the Parakeet Party image.  The stamped layer was die-cut with the Gorgeously Made Dies to create the notebook edging.  The sentiment was heat embossed on a 1/2" strip of Pebbled Path and adhered to a second strip to create a subtle layer on the card front.  The Basic White layer was adhered to Pebbled Path Cardstock layer trimmed for a small edging.

The inside was stamped and layered to compliment the card front while making it personalized for the special gift card that will be enclosed.  The Sentimental Park Photopolymer Stamp Set was used for the inside sentiment.  While the Alphabest Photopolymer Stamp Set was used along with the Online Exclusive Classic Letters Photopolymer Stamp Set to create the personalization on the gift card holder created with the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies.  The Basic White Medium Envelope was stamped on the front and the envelope flap to compliment the card.
