Fun Cards with A Friend

Tuesday was a fun crafting day with a friend!  And as she reminded me at the end of the afternoon, it was a fun stamp class.  Thanks for reminding me that it was actually a class - my first official stamp class as a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator - my sweet friend! xx

Needless to say, we had a lot of fun chatting and stamping.  For a hot summer afternoon while our kids were having fun together, we picked a card from the annual catalog to case (Copy And Selectively Edit).  Emma Goddard did this on one of her Facebook Lives and after watching that video, I knew I needed to give it a whirl myself!  What a wonderful fun idea to cut up pieces of cardstock measuring 0.5" x 4.25" and just randomly picking colors to make a card or select colors for a card!

I gave my friend some sample swatches to pick her favorite colors.  As she had already been working with some bright cardstock that she already had, she decided to pick colors from the Regal color family.  I chose to work with the In Colors knowing they would make some cheerful cards!  I was pleased with my simple “hello” cards for my RAK friends while my friend enjoyed her “thank you” cards for her students.  There is nothing like selecting a card from the annual catalog when you are really needing a bunch of quick cards...

I hope these cards have inspired you to get creative with your cardstock and just not use it for card bases or large card fronts!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!
Have a blessed day!

P.S.  And just think, if you're inspired by these cards and do not already have these lovely ink pads, you could get them for FREE this month just by joining my team!  Contact me for details.  ~APM
